Picturesque Nainital from China Peak

In my view one must take time out to visit China Peak in Nainital. China Peak is one of the best place to visit in Nainital. 

Many of us have visited Nainital & its surroundings. to name a few ..Nainital Zoo, Naina Devi Temple, Rope Way, etc. And must have enjoyed the boat ride in Naini Lake. But the beauty & experience is unmatched.

About China Peak :- It is the highest visible hill top of Nainital . It can be seen right from the Nainital Dock or Bus Stand. Or from the Naini Temple or from Mall Raod as well.It is around 3.5 Km from Naini Lake. No Vehicle can reach here. Though a Taxi can be taken till half way. but at least 2 Km mountain walk cannot be avoided. and that is the real fun.

Why to visit China Peak  :- It gives a bird eye view of beautiful lake, it is here you will really learn to see the "Eye" Shaped lake.

Who should go :- You must be willing to walk 3.5 km of hill type roads that includes forest type tracking. It is much better you are 4 to 5 in count. you must carry additional warm cloths to cover whole body. You would hardly find locals who would take you there but it can be easily found as many locals & students often go there for picnic. It is advised to start at 9-10 am , it will take around 2 hours from Naini temple .China Peak is colder then Nainital city. Must Carry water bottles , light snacks & Camera.

At China Peak :- You will feel like heaven, You will feel as if you were flying. there will be no mountain about this peak. If weather us too clear you may see entire Himalayas. But you got to me lucky.  Have a look of Nainital from China Peak. Even if it is cloudy , Partial cloudy or clear sky, this place will shows its own beauty. beyond imagination . It can only be felt hard to describe.
For me , it is a must go while going Nainital.
